Mayabeque, Cuba: Yesterday, Mayabeque reported 24 new positive cases of Covid-19 in 7 of its 11 municipalities. All contacts of confirmed cases, the official website of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health reported.
The municipality of San José de las Lajas registered 10 patients with the new coronavirus, while Batabanó confirmed 4, Jaruco and Santa Cruz del Norte 3, Güines 2 and Madruga and San Nicolás one each.
Yesterday no deaths were reported in the province.
Despite the decrease in the numbers of infections, strict compliance with the established hygienic-sanitary measures must be maintained. Frequent hand washing, the correct and permanent use of the mask and the disinfection of common areas must be part of the daily routine.
