Mayabeque, Cuba: The transformation of a land located in the North Popular Council of San José de Las Lajas into an ecological park is one of the actions carried out by the workers and managers of the Mayabeque Raw Material Recovery Company.
This is part of the activities for the 60th anniversary of the founding of these entities in Cuba.
The institutional communication specialist of the provincial company, Yoel Lázaro Pérez Delgado, reported that in this ecological area located in the old playground they repair the games for the little ones, paint the walls and make planters with recyclable materials in which they will plant trees and ornamental plants.
Pérez Delgado also communicated that in that place one of the eleven clean points that will be created in the municipality will work, a space designed to modify household waste into recyclable materials and teach the residents of the place how to classify them.
This initiative will be carried out in the rest of the municipalities of Mayabeque with the purpose of building other clean points until reaching 60 throughout the province.
This ecological park will allow you to enjoy the bone and rest and promote the culture of recycling in the population.
