Professors, students and technicians of the Faculty of Agronomy design a training plan for agricultural production entities.

Mayabeque, Cuba: Motivated by the impetus and commitment required by the new Food and Nutrition Sovereignty Plan for Cuban society, the Department of Soil and Water of the Faculty of Agronomy, are designing a training plan for the agricultural production entities.

Professors, students and technicians from that faculty of the Agrarian University of Havana (UNAH), led by Doctors of Sciences Nelson Martín Alonso and Heriberto Vargas, combine their knowledge and skills to generate spaces for exchange and consultation in the agricultural context of Mayabeque, the Institutional Facebook of the UNAH published.

This proposal aims to train producers, specialists and managers of agriculture on issues related to the use and management of soils, in order to achieve greater efficiency in the productivity of the territory.

Accompaniment and training will be the most important links in this extension work, which will have as its first stage the municipality of San José de las Lajas and, to the extent of the current context, will be extended to the rest of the municipalities of the province.
