Mayabeque, Cuba: The province guarantees the constructive maintenance program in the Public Health sector with an amount of eight million pesos.
According to statements by the Director of Infrastructure in the demarcation, Félix Albelo Bueno, at the beginning of the year the territory had 20 million pesos that were reduced from the economic crisis that the country is going through caused by Covid-19.
The work includes the Crisanto Betancourt Provincial Psychiatric Hospital with the purpose of improving conditions in this medical facility
Albelo Bueno reports that constructive maintenance work to improve the healthcare units for patient care is carried out at the Leopoldito Martínez General Hospital, the Provincial Center for Genetics and others with a social impact.
The Director of Infrastructure in the territory added that all Homes for the Elderly, Homes for Grandparents and Maternal Homes in the province will also receive this benefit.
