Mayabeque, Cuba: Mayabeque’s team beat its Granma counterpart twice this weekend, in the continuation of the 60th National Baseball Series.

On Saturday, the Hurricanes defeated the Alazanes with a score of 10 runs to 7. Mayabeque with 9 hits, by 12 the hosts, each team made a mistake.

The monticular victory to the account of Yadián Martínez, the reverse was suffered by Luís Miguel González. In this duel Luís Fernández, for Mayabeque and Guillermo Avilés for Granma, hit home runs.

On Sunday, the Hurricanes knocked out the Granma in seven innings with a score of 17 runs by 5. A total of 21 hits were beaten by the winners, 9 by the defeated. Mayabeque committed an error, the Alazanes three.


Marlon Vega achieved his third victories, with no failures on the season. Leandro Martínez was the defeated. Roel Santos for the hosts took the ball out of the Mártires de Barbados Stadium.

Now those led by Michel González have a record of 17 successes and 20 setbacks, located in 11th place in the position table, just two and a half games from the classification zone.

Today the Hurricanes return to their predium where they will be playing Tuesday and Wednesday against Holguin.
