Joe Biden, new president of the United States.

Democrat Joe Biden was elected as the new president of the United States (USA), surpassing the figure of 270 votes he needed to defeat the current President Donald Trump in the elections in that country, Granma newspaper publishes.

Biden has won the 284 electoral votes, adding the 20 from the state of Pennsylvania and previously the 11 from Arizona, for which he is announced as the winner.

NBC said that the Democratic candidate obtained the necessary 273 votes and CNN announced that he already has the 270 necessary to take over the presidency. Meanwhile, Fox News gives the Democratic candidate 290 electoral votes, granting him victory in Pennsylvania, Arizona and Nevada.

Donald Trump’s electoral team immediately spoke in the same line of speech that they have maintained for months before the vote, accusing the voting centers and the Democrats of not acting clean.

The current president’s campaign command will bring a criminal case over the counting of votes by mail nationwide in court, announced Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani.

A judge of the United States Supreme Court ordered the state of Pennsylvania on Friday to separate votes that arrived after 8:00 p.m. on November 3, at the close of the polls on Election Day in the United States, with the objective of protecting the ballots. The truth is that there are already celebrations in the streets of that country, on the occasion of the victory of Joe Biden, who will be the 46th president of that country.
