According to its evolution and trajectory, tropical storm Eta does not constitute a danger for the central and eastern regions, so the provinces of Guantánamo, Santiago de Cuba, Holguín, Las Tunas, Villa Clara, Cienfuegos and Matanzas go to the normality while Granma, Camagüey, Ciego de Ávila and Sancti Spíritus go to the Recovery Phase starting at 11:00 today.
These provinces must complete the evaluation of the damage and needs and the restoration of vital services; once these actions are completed, report their results and return to normality.
Maintain the Alert Phase in the western region, where the influence of tropical storm Eta, mainly Pinar del Río, Artemisa and Havana, is still expected,. The province of Mayabeque and the Special Municipality of Isla de la Juventud, go back to normality.
During the execution of the recovery actions, attention should be paid to compliance with the measures of the Plan for the prevention and control of the new coronavirus and the guidelines of local authorities.
The work carried out by the governing bodies in all the territories is recognized, as well as the discipline and solidarity shown by the population in the fulfillment of the measures oriented during the response to this event.
