Mayabeque, Cuba: In times of economic crisis, exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic, an energy saving campaign in order to raise awareness of the rational use of electricity is being carried out in Mayabeque.
The purpose is to reduce the consumption of the public and state sectors and to encourage the adequate and efficient use of renewable sources and to promote responsibility for the use of energy.
The communicator of the Provincial Electric Company, Rosa Rodríguez Pérez, refers that this campaign contributes to saving energy in the country, based on the claim of the highest authorities to the population.
Mayabeque has high consumer centers such as sugar mills, refrigerators, hospitals and industries where they also encourage the adoption of measures to contribute to energy saving and the economic development of the country.
