Mayabeque, Cuba: In the most recent part related to the behavior of Covid-19, Mayabeque reported 37 positive cases.
According to the official website of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), all are autochthonous and contacts of previously confirmed cases.
By municipalities, the 37 patients are distributed among Bejucal, which reports 7; followed by Quivicán with 6, while San José de las Lajas and Jaruco 5 each.
In the case of Güines and Santa Cruz del Norte, 4 people were diagnosed with the disease in each of the municipalities, while Nueva Paz 3, San Nicolás 2 and Batabanó 1.
In his usual press conference, the national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap), Dr. Francisco Durán García, reported that from the patients admitted to the province of Mayabeque, two remain in a stable critical condition.
A 38-year-old Cuban citizen from San Nicolás, with a Personal Pathological History of Arterial Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease in Hemodialysis and Chronic Gastritis.This patient is in the Intensive Care Unit, maintains low-grade fever, ex-tubated without difficulty yesterday. Today he spontaneously ventilates with oxygen. He is hemodynamically stable. Poor diuresis Torax X ray shows radiopaque image that impresses respiratory distress.
The other is a 32-year-old Cuban citizen, from Madruga, with a Personal Pathological History of Arterial Hypertension. He is in Intermediate Care Unit , afebrile, conscious, cooperative, with abundant bronchial secretions, on mechanical ventilation with moderate respiratory distress. Hemodynamically stable. Normal diuretic rhythm. Gasometry with moderate hypoxemia. Torax X ray present iInflammatory mottling in the lower 2/3 of both lung fields.
