Mayabeque, Cuba: In the most recent part related to the behavior of Covid-19, Mayabeque reported a positive case, autochthonous and contact of a previously confirmed case belonging to the municipality of Santa Cruz del Norte.
In his usual press conference, the national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap), Dr. Francisco Durán García, reported that two of the individuals admitted from the province of Mayabeque remain in a stable critical condition.
- A 38-year-old Cuban citizen from the municipality of San Nicolás, with a Personal Pathological History of Arterial Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease in Hemodialysis and Chronic Gastritis.This patient is in the Intensive Care Unit, maintains low-grade fever, extubates without difficulty yesterday. Today he spontaneously ventilates with oxygen. He is hemodynamically stable, with poor diuresis. The torax X ray shows an radiopaque image that impresses respiratory distress.
- A 32-year-old Cuban citizen, from the Madruga municipality, with a Personal Pathological History of Arterial Hypertension.He remains in Intermediate Care, afebrile, conscious, cooperative, abundant bronchial secretions, on mechanical ventilation with moderate respiratory distress. He is hemodynamically stable with normal diuretic rhythm. Gasometry with moderate hypoxemia. The torax X ray shows inflammatory mottling in the lower 2/3 of both lung fields.
