Mayabeque, Cuba: In the most recent part related to the behavior of Covid-19, Mayabeque records 39 positive cases, distributed in 9 of its 11 municipalities.
According to the official website of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), all are indigenous and only one of them is unknown the source of infection.
By territories, the 39 patients are distributed between Santa Cruz del Norte that reports 8, Bejucal 7, followed by Quivicán and Batabanó with 5, while Güines reports 4.
In the case of the municipalities of Nueva Paz and San José de las Lajas, there are three people with the disease, while Melena del Sur and San Nicolás each have two.
In his usual press conference, the national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap), Dr. Francisco Durán García, reported that there is a patient in intensive care from Mayabeque.
She is a 45-year-old Cuban citizen from the municipality of Batabanó, with a Personal Pathological History of Bronchial Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Thrombopathy. This patient presents mildly polypnea and is spontaneously ventilating with supplemental oxygen. She is hemodynamically stable with preserved diuresis. Blood gas with acceptable parameters. She is reported in serious condition.
