I would like to inform this Facebook user, regarding this, that in the midst of a deep economic crisis impacted by the intensification of the blockade, the Agriculture Company of Melena del Sur fulfilled the schedulled plans of the current potato campaign with 5567. 47 tons of the tuber, an important contribution to the nutrition of the municipality, the province and the country after eight years of obstinately pursuing the desired dream.
I will also remind him that the seed of the much-needed tuber thanks to the blockade has to be imported from Europe with an amount of around 800 thousand dollars, while if it were made from the United States it would only be 700 thousand.
The cost to our people has been important more than 428 million dollars and what to say about the list of affectations as a result of the murderous blockade to the country in which it was born, although today I weigh the facilities of the one in which it resides today, absurd comparison others, the number would be endless.
