Ratifican paro en Colombia.

Colombia: Colombian unions ratified their intention to take to the streets on Wednesday 28, despite the government call to postpone the protest due to the most serious peak of Covid-19, Radio Reloj reports.

The general secretary of the Central Unitaria de Trabajadores, Diógenes Orjuela, explained that the administration of President Iván Duque made wrong decisions in the midst of the pandemic and as many difficulties as the Tax Reform.

Orjuela affirmed that protests of this type are not new, they have been called since September last year and a commandment of health protocols for the participants circulates throughout the country, he stressed.

He reminded the leader that unions, students and workers will be in the mobilization, and confirmed that this time the actions will be undertaken with greater responsibility, given the high unemployment rates, poverty and inequality prevailing in the territory.
