Mayabeque, Cuba: A new collaboration agreement was signed by the Roberto Coco Peredo Base Business Unit, belonging to the Western Mining Company and the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences (INCA), both entities located in Mayabeque.

This agreement will facilitate the obtaining of new stimulants for seed treatment and the development of more stable bio-fertilizer formulations based on the inclusion of non-metallic minerals that are processed.

The initiative arose from the First Non-metallic Minerals Workshop, held in November of last year, an event whose objectives were to achieve greater integration of scientific centers.

The agreement will make it possible to provide greater added value to the products offered by this UEB as natural fertilizer and the incorporation of its productions with research, in addition to strengthening the Science – Socialist State Enterprise relationship.
