“My name is Hansel Hernández Álvarez and I am a percussionist musician and professor at the University of Arts (ISA).
This versatile and multi – instrumentalist from Güines reaches in each delivery the public with attractive musical novelties.
“I had the opportunity to record the album of Carlos Tes Calunga, the first album in Cuba of that musician, renowned Son singer, main figure of the Buena Vista Social Club for 15 years and this is going to be his first album, I am very happy to participate and right now we are working on the latest recordings for this material, also as part of my work at the University of the Arts, I am planning a project together with UNESCO called transculture that is like a kind of music chair for many Caribbean countries ” .
Hansel Hernández, has experience as a drummer and percussionist.
“And I decided on that material that had been created for my students to share it on my YouTube channel and it was very well received by many people, I have had good answers that I have been urged to continue working more responsibly.”
