Addis Ababa: Ethiopia condemned this Saturday the murder of three aid workers from Doctors Without Borders (MSF by its initials), which according to an official notification, was committed by the Tigray People’s Liberation Front and armed groups allied to that organization.

The executive director of the Tigray State Interim Administration, Abrham Belay, condemned the terrorist acts and desperate criminal actions of the Front and associated elements active in the region, mainly directed against humanitarian workers.

The latest consequences of their attacks, heinous and criminal under any banner, led to the death of María Hernández and Yohannes Halefom, MSF coordinators, as well as Tedros Gebremariam, Belay denounced.

“We extend our condolences to the families and friends of the victims and to the entire MSF team in Ethiopia?, he said.

In addition, he confirmed that the work will continue to help millions of citizens in the northern area and encouraged to take the maximum precautions in areas where the terrorist group and its allies are hiding taking the public as a shield.

Doctors Without Borders announced that it lost contact with the group on Thursday and on Friday the lifeless bodies of the three, one Spanish and two Ethiopians, appeared next to the vehicle in which they were traveling.
