Mayabeque, Cuba: The authorities in Bejucal promote the sustainable development of tourism with the materialization of a sociocultural project.
According to the head of the development management section in the Municipal Administration, Angel Estrada Izquierdo, they are working with a program to take advantage of the potential of local tourism.
The manager pointed out that together with the teaching staff of the Municipal University Center (CUM) a course-workshop is taught with the aim of acquiring the necessary tools for its implementation.
Participants must submit a final proposal for their projects.
Estrada Izquierdo mentioned the Train Station as one of the sites in the town planned to be restored.
