From October 25 to 27, XVI Ibero-American Thought Congress.

Holguín, Cuba: The Ibero-American Congress of Thought in its twenty-sixth edition, an event that takes place annually in Holguín as part of the Ibero-American Culture Festival, will be held from the digital platforms from October 25 to 27, taking into account health provisions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

According to the cultural publication La Jiribilla, this year the event will host the theme related to peoples and the art of resisting, and the sessions will be carried out from digital and semi-presential scenarios.

In this edition you can also compete with gender, sociodemographic and identity studies, as well as experiences promoted by cultural groups and artistic processes.

The selected investigations will integrate the memories of the event as a publication and their respective International Standard Number of Books (ISBN) for its acronym in English and those of greater rigor and importance will form part of the editorial plan of Guayza magazine, a publication of social criticism and research from home.

From the call that will circulate on the networks, it is expected that the participants will send their works digitally, and in accordance with the topics addressed by the research, conferences, panels, forum debates and special presentations will be organized, by important intellectuals and researchers online.

The works will be received in digital format, and up to two authors per work will be admitted. They must be sent, according to the bases, with Arial 12 typeface, spacing and a half line spacing, without a cover page and with a maximum length, in its content, of five pages.

The data of interest such as the full name of the authors, title of the work, scientific degree, institution to which it belongs, province and country to which it represents, email and telephone number for its location, must be attached on the first page.

Papers can be delivered until August 30 and their summaries should not exceed the 250 words and their bibliography will be according to APA standards.

In the case of participants in the interactive forums, they will be notified of the acceptance of their proposals by the Organizing Committee between September 15 and 20, and then they must send their presentation in Power Point or in a video of no more than five minutes, as well as the willingness to be online on the date indicated.
