Cuba: Cuban social organizations warned today about the attempts to generate chaos while ratifying their rejection of the United States’ blockade policy and the media siege against the Caribbean country, Prensa Latina reported.
The national chapter of the Network in Defense of Humanity called on the international community to oppose the interventionist moves that Washington and its allies intend to apply.
A statement published on its website recalls that the Donald Trump administration redoubled the economic, financial and commercial siege against Havana to the maximum.
The text supports the measures adopted to defend their independence, sovereignty and socialist emancipation project.
Meanwhile, the Union of Cuban Journalists (UPEC) summoned the social unit in a note entitled The Cuban people would never rise up against themselves.
The note confirms UPEC’s support for the people and warns of the serious fourth-generation war scenario and the media siege.
For its part, the Young Communists League ratified the obligation to continue educating the new generations in the defense of the nation.
“We are all united, those responsible for fulfilling the constitutional mandate of the irrevocable nature of our Socialism,” says an editorial published by the organization on its official website.
