Mayabeque, Cuba: Mayabeque reports today 234 samples positive for Covid-19, of which 12 have no confirmed source of infection, according to the official website of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).
Yesterday the territory with the highest incidence of the disease is San José de las Lajas with 63 followed by Batabanó with a total of 53 patients and Güines with 36.
Santa Cruz del Norte reports 25 infected persons, Jaruco and San Nicolás 21, Madruga and Melena del Sur 4, while Nueva Paz and Quivicán register 3 and Bejucal one.
The province of Mayabeque mourns the death of two people:
An adult over 71 years of age with a Personal Pathological History of Arterial Hypertension, Ischemic Heart Disease and Parkinson’s Disease, with a hospital stay of six days.
And a 54-year-old adult, with a Personal Pathological History of Arterial Hypertension, and Chronic Kidney Disease and a hospital stay of three days.
The authorities of the province urge to have a greater perception of risk, to comply with hygienic-sanitary measures and with the guidelines of the country’s top management.
