Foreign direct investment increases almost 20 percent in China.

Beijing: China today reported a 19.6 percent year-on-year rise in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), whose value amounted to 129 thousand 300 million dollars between January and September of this year, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.

According to the Ministry of Commerce, the service sector and high technology stood out in this result, with increases of 22.5 and 29.2 points, respectively.

He also mentioned an increase in FDI from member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and the Belt and Road project.

China proposes to attract more funds from abroad with the relaxation of regulations, introduction of preferential measures and a greater opening of its market.

The Ministry promised last year to expand the range of businesses and sectors of interest to companies from other nations.
