Caracas: In the midst of the overwhelming victory achieved by the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), the Bolivarian Government ratified that the priority today is political dialogue with all elected governors and mayors, Prensa Latina publishes.
After the victory obtained by the revolutionary forces, President Nicolás Maduro expressed his assurance that, by consensus, the Federal Council of Government will be repowered with the participation of all the forces.
He emphasized that through negotiation and constitutional respect, progress can be made, working together.
He recalled that one of the aspects highlighted by international observers is precisely the participation of all political forces both when exercising the right to vote and in the entire organizational process of the vote.
Meanwhile, the president of the National Assembly of Venezuela, Jorge Rodríguez, rejected the day before the double discourse of the United States and the violence of some right-wing parties to try to ignore the electoral results.
In this regard, at a press conference to analyze the November 21 elections, the deputy pointed out that the North American government speaks of democracy, celebrates the triumph of the opponents, while encouraging the national right to ignore the will of the people in those places where the PSUV won.
In the balance of the day, Rodríguez stressed that the results of last Sunday reflect the end of violence and extremism led by the opposition sector linked to former deputy Juan Guaidó.
He pointed out that the one who lost was the extremist opposition sector, which months ago refused to settle the conflicts at the polls, “those sectors received their dose of loneliness,” the deputy stressed.
The PSUV won in the votes 21 of the 24 federal entities, 20 of the 23 governorates and the mayor of Caracas, one of the most representative and important in the country.
