Mayabeque, Cuba: Regarding the Educator’s Day in Mayabeque, they recognize the work of teachers and other workers with a relevant trajectory by raising the quality of teaching at different levels.
The purpose is to enhance the participation of teachers in the development of the country for their contribution to the training of professionals in multiple spheres.
The general secretary of the Union of Education, Science and Sports in the province, Barbará Elena Collado Calderón, said that the Rafal María de Mendive medal will be awarded to educators with 20 and more than 25 years of work experience and satisfactory results.
Collado Calderón added that they will award a plaque instituted by the provincial union to the literacy workers who today work in educational institutions.
They will also recognize the outstanding workers and groups in the tasks of confronting Covid -19 with the 60th anniversary stamp, at the initiative of the national union, and with the stamp for the life of the personnel who were in the red zones.
