Mayabeque, Cuba: The Casa de la Décima de Mayabeque will host a peasant guateque next Saturday the 18th, at 2:00 in the afternoon.
Notable poets and repentistas from the province and the country will be featured at the event, including Héctor and Néstor Gutiérrez, Luis Paz, Papillo, Idalberto Montero and Diosvanis Sánchez.
Also in the activity the voices of Alexis Pérez, Anamarys Gil, Brayan Iglesias and members of the El Punto Cubano Children’s Project will be heard.
The province of Mayabeque is example of peasant traditions promoted by prestigious poets and repentistas, who through their verses print love for the land and Cuba.
