Mayabeque, Cuba: In Mayabeque, a day of recognition for metallurgical and electronic workers began.
In this sense, they will carry out a broad program of activities to declare entities, companies, base business units, factories, workshops and warehouses with a detailed industrial culture.
Meetings with young people to exchange and commit them to tasks that contribute efficiently to the economic programs of the territory will be organized also.
They will also recognize retirees and fifties from the sector. They will also visit companies to hold talks, exchange experiences and link the new generations to these initiatives.
With the purpose of promoting science and technology, they will hold meetings at the University, as well as exchanges on projects to be developed together with the students of the careers at the end.
Outstanding innovators are inserted in these tasks of the province.
The activities will take place from March 1 to 24 to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the birth of the martyr of the sector, Agapito Figueroa Barrera.
