Students from the University of Mayabeque carry out an internship at the Roberto Coco Peredo Business Unit.

Mayabeque, Cuba: First-year students of the Industrial Engineering degree at the “Fructuoso Rodríguez Pérez” Agrarian University of Havana, located in San José de las Lajas, carry out their work practices at the Roberto Coco Base Business Unit (UEB) Peredo, belonging to the Western Mining Company.

With this exercise, future UNAH professionals will achieve an adequate mastery of the modes of action that characterize the activities of their specialty, as well as develop work awareness, discipline and responsibility at work.

In this UEB there is also an exchange with the young professionals of the province, an example of this are the recent graduates of the Energy and Mines sector, who during a visit to this unit learned about the operation, the final destination of the various productions, the importance to renew them and their benefits for the national economy.

For the collective of the Roberto Coco Peredo Base Business Unit, nourishing themselves with new blood is an action that will contribute to the fulfillment of each one of their goals.
