Food production is diversified with by-products from the sea at the Batabanó factory.

Mayabeque, Cuba: Resuming production lines to diversify assortments with by-products from the sea is a priority in the Batabanó fishing industry.

The medallion, the salpicón combined with minced chicken and the hamburgers made with rice and wheat flour, as a result of the productive chain with other companies, are from the varieties of food currently made in the factory and sold in the specialized fishmongers of the coastal municipality for social consumption.

They also foresee the production of lobster broth for sale in national currency and later to market it in foreign currency.

With a total of 20 tons, the entity exceeded the lobster export plan in January and February thanks to the increase in catch levels. This indicator represents higher income to the plant.
