More than a hundred families will benefit with new homes.

Mayabeque, Cuba: More than a hundred families will have their lives changed this year in Mayabeque. The investment plan includes the construction of houses for a value of more than 112 million pesos.

The Provincial Director of Patrimony and Investments, Michael Fundora Ortiz, states that this program will fundamentally benefit the residents of the municipalities of Güines and Batabanó.

The investments will be executed in the eleven territories of the province, highlighting the town of Batabanó where they intend to finish more than 40 homes this year and start another 35.

Meanwhile, in the municipality of Güines, it is planned to finish 38 houses this year and start another 30.

Fundora Ortiz explained that the largest number of beneficiary families will be concentrated in the agricultural sector. One of the structures that today has the greatest facilities to acquire materials from contracts between cooperatives and the construction sector.

Other social works are contemplated in the investment program for this year in Mayabeque, adds the Provincial Director of Patrimony and Investments.

They are the enlargement of the Madruga cemetery, the Melena del Sur Municipal Administration Council, the bypass of the southern section of San José de Las Lajas, the El Fraile de Santa Cruz del Norte conductor and that of the provincial capital.
