Mayabeque, Cuba: One of the most recognized stores in Mayabeque celebrates its 25th anniversary today, La Espiga de Oro, an entity that had previously been a well-known La Mayorista store in the territory.
The work group of that shopping center is distinguished today by the overcompliance in incomes in freely convertible currency and by the sale of products of wide popular demand, based on the new distribution system implemented by the local government.
The manager José Eugenio Álvarez received a diploma of recognition for the 25 years of service of this unit, from the deputy director of the Mayabeque Division of the Caribe Store Chain, Ileana Alfonso Véliz.
In the context of the celebration, Hugo Almeida Valdés was distinguished with the 50th Anniversary Seal of the National Union of Civilian Defense Workers for the work carried out during these 25 years in the unit.
Alba María Hernández Rodríguez and Yamilé Noguez Hernández, also founders of the center, were also recognized.
