The premises may be requested for undertakings aimed at encouraging participation in the economy.

Mayabeque, Cuba: The Administration Council of Batabanó approved a group of establishments that are part of the state heritage of commerce and gastronomy entities for the lease and rent bidding procedure for the new actors in the economy.

According to the Mayor of the territory, Raudel García Mederos, among the approved establishments are the social circles of each population settlement and La Criollita bar-restaurant.

He said that these, once approved by the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power, may be requested by the workers of the place that is tendered, self-employed workers, Non-Agricultural Cooperatives, local development projects, productive forms of agriculture or other state entities and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

The director explained that the interested parties may present their application proposal to the aforementioned local body, as part of a local development project or other undertaking aimed at encouraging participation in the economy, promoting development, product diversification and social economic well-being.
