Mayabeque, Cuba: The Music Recordings and Editions Company (EGREM) includes in its most recent record production the song Canto de Fe, authored by Mayabeque’s writer, Andrea García Molina.
The album includes the 12 best songs that have been made during this period, including one by Los Rumberos and another by the Drums of Bejucal, which exalts Cuban culture and constitute a pride for the province.
“I am gratified by this achievement and it is a reflect that creativity is present even in the worst circumstances, an example of this was when Perucho Figueredo composed the lyrics of the National Anthem on his horse and that is how we Cubans continue because the future will always exist for us”, García Molina expressed.
Andrea García Molina is a personality of Cuban culture, natural of the Popular Council Vegas in the municipality of Nueva Paz, in the province of Mayabeque. She is a member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) and is recognized for her literary work.
