Mayabeque, Cuba: The municipality of Jaruco complied with the annual plan for voluntary blood donations on the eve of the 60th anniversary of the creation of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR).
According to the information of Dr. Antonio Herrera, director of Public Health in the territory, during the year there were a total of 528 donations, highlighting that of workers from the municipal directorates of Education, Health and the Community Base Business Unit.

The director of Public Health in Jaruco recognized in the first instance the work carried out in the neighborhoods of the territory by the municipal coordination of the CDRs and the Cuban Workers’ Federation in the work centers.
The manager asserted that Jaruco complies with the annual plan for voluntary blood donations in a decisive year for Cuban health, in the confrontation with the Coronavirus Sars-Cov-2, Covid-19.
