Mayabeque, Cuba: Cuban youth have always been in the place that the homeland has needed them the most, and in the current times of confrontation with a global pandemic, they have not been the exception.
For several months, thousands of young Cubans such as Evelio Alejandro Morejón Pérez, professor of political culture at the Pre-University Vocational Institute of Exact Sciences (IPVCE) of Mayabeque, have contributed their sand grain to back the development of society.
“I have been collaborating in the detachments to supervise energy saving in educational and cultural entities and the tours of the Base Business Unit (UEB) Electric Company of Melena del Sur”, the young educator commented.
This young communist also supported the sanitation of the IPVCE when the school year was stopped due to the impact of Covid-19 in the country, which were tasks entrusted by the Young Communists League (UJC).
For his dedication to these and other tasks, Evelio Alejandro Morejón Pérez received the status of Youth for Life, granted by the National Bureau of the UJC.
At this time, the young teacher is immersed in contributing to the training of IPVCE students and in ensuring compliance with hygienic and sanitary measures in the educational center, to prevent Covid-19.
