Mayabeque, Cuba: The granting of subsidies for the construction of houses or their rehabilitation give priority to mothers with three or more children in need of financial assistance in Madruga.
This social project of the Cuban government has a slow development this year in the municipality, motivated by the incidence of Covid-19. However, the authorities work to identify the most urgent cases and manage the availability of essential resources.
Of the 18 basic cells completed so far this year in that town, nine belong to this group and the purpose is to complete the 23 approved in this calendar. Of these, 20 will be for vulnerable families and three for critical cases.
The director of housing in that territory, Yainel Reyes Ávila, explained that before January 2021 they must complete the number of 35 subsidized homes, for which they approved two million two hundred thousand pesos and highlighted the projects of local production of materials of the construction that drive the completion of the work.
