Mayabeque, Cuba: The personal exhibition Habana Vibrante, by the young artist Yuri Santana, was inaugurated at the Provincial Center for Visual Arts in Mayabeque.
Seven two-dimensional pieces made in oil on canvas highlight the urban vibe of the Cuban capital, its people and its neighborhoods. The author offers a contemporary look at the Wonder City.
At the meeting, the specialist of this cultural institution Luis Alberto Saldaña Soto, commented that the exhibition reflects a vision of Havana, its machinery in motion, its typical places, with a carefree pictorial stamp.
Yuri Santana is one of the main exponents of contemporary painting in Mayabeque, Saldaña Soto said.
The director of the Provincial Center for Visual Arts, Eduardo De La Cruz Guerra, thanked the public for their visit and the Hermanos Saíz Association for their support in holding this event.
