For COVID-19 8,999 samples were studied, resulting in 40 positive samples. The country accumulates 883 thousand 701 samples carried out and 7 thousand 184 positive (0.81%).
Of the 40 diagnosed cases, all are Cuban and autochthonous, thirty-six were contacts of confirmed cases and four without a specified source of infection, fifteen are women and 25 men. 82.5% of the positive cases were asymptomatic.
By province, the cases are from Pinar del Río 34, Artemisa 1, La Habana 1 and Sancti Spiritus 2.
