Mayabeque, Cuba: Three experts from the Institute of Animal Science (ICA), located in San José de las Lajas, held an exchange with specialists from the Center for Advanced Studies of Cuba (CEA).
The main objective of the visit made by the associate researchers was to request the analytical services of this state-of-the-art institution, as well as to discuss the possibility of presenting a project between both scientific centers.
In this way, this House of High Studies, in the capital of Mayabeque, is heading towards the use of nanotechnologies in the investigation of the physiological mechanisms established in biotechnological processes and in animal production.
The CEA’s mission is to develop scientific research in the field of nano-sciences, based on the use of such results in the national economy.
