Mayabeque, Cuba: Young people from Mayabeque are once again in the front line of combat against the outbreak of Covid-19 that also affects the youngest province in the country.
Today the Young Communists League (UJC) has a group of brigades made up of more than 102 young people who today are in the municipalities carrying out tasks in the battle against the new Coronavirus.
According to the member of the Provincial Bureau of the UJC, responsible for the sphere of education, health and sports, Lien Herrera Gil, in 348 doctor and the nurse’s offices of Mayabeque, a young accompanies the duo in the home investigation at home.
“In addition to these tasks and showing the comprehensiveness of their preparation, young people participate in health education work, even in the most isolated communities”, Herrera Gil added.
They also participate in food production, we contribute to saving energy carriers and are willing to face any task assigned to them by the country’s top management.
