Mayabeque, Cuba: The epidemiological situation in the municipality of Quivicán is classified as complex. Health authorities intensify measures to prevent the spread of the new Coronavirus.
Mayor Reinaldo Odel Oliver, in a meeting of the Municipal Defense Council (CDM), explained the need to lower the flow of state buses so that there is no crowding of people at stops and also warned about the support of state car drivers.
“The drivers of state cars cannot pick up the personnel who are waiting at the points, this only facilitates the transfer of people and the spread of the epidemic”, the Municipal Mayor claimed.
The meetings, the misuse of the nasobuco are some of the indiscipline that must be eradicated, according to the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) Yoan Alfonso, who also called attention to the dimension of physical isolation, people drinking in the same glass or cup, the disinfection of flat surfaces and the permanence in the workplace without wandering around other places of the institutions.
The situation that Quivicán is experiencing is complicated by the growing number of infections with the new Coronavirus, with the passage of the province to the phase of Limited Autochthonous Transmission, actions are reinforced to preserve the health of the population. (IVP)
