Mayabeque, Cuba: Puentes de amor have joined many cities in the world in the demand for the end of the United States blockade against Cuba.
It constitutes an international call for the justice of thousands of citizens who resist the financial and commercial economic encirclement, which for six decades has sought to overthrow the Cuban Revolution.
It is above all the recognition of the resistance of a dignified public that it has not been possible to bend over and despite the blockade as an example of liberty and sovereignty.
Puentes de amor to offer solidarity to the Island of dignity, to Cuba by Fidel, which brought his leadership to history in 1959 and since then it marks the difference.
It is the heroism of a nation that is not friendly and defends its right to live without the price to build a fair and equitable society with the longest and most cruel blockade.
How long has Cuba been in this time, how long has it been spread out over the world and how much more could the United States cease in its fallen policy?
At the same time, Cuba is leading five of the vacant candidates to put an end to the Covid-19 pandemic, the result of the science of human capital formed by the Revolution.
It is also my hope to recognize the Puentes de amor that unite us, now and always with all the men of this great country who, perhaps, say that Martí is humankind.
