Mayabeque, Cuba: In the municipality of San Nicolás, measures are taken to extremes the increase in outbreaks of mosquitoes.
According to the deputy director of Hygiene and Epidemiology in the territory, Olga Scull Marrero, in relation to previous periods there is an increase in the presence of Aedes Aegypti in vulnerable areas.
However, the anti-vector campaign has not stopped to counteract the spread of the mosquito, despite restrictions on local residences due to Covid-19.
The nursing graduate emphasizes the adequate planning of all sectors to neutralize the attacks of the vector and the proliferation of diseases.
The authorities recommend contributing to the cleaning of homes and communities, as well as being alert to the presence of any symptoms of the usual clinical picture of dengue.
