Mayabeque, Cuba: Mayabeque registers 15 positive cases for Covid-19, according to the report issued by the Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).
Of the samples studied yesterday in the province, all are contacts of confirmed cases.
The municipalities of Madruga and Santa Cruz del Norte have one per territory. For their part, Bejucal and Güines have three per locality, also Batabanó 2 and San José de las Lajas 5.
The 38-year-old citizen, from San Nicolás, is in stable critic condition. She has a Personal Pathological Antecedent of Arterial Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease in Hemodialysis and Chronic Gastritis. She remains in the Intensive Care Unit, maintains low-grade fever, sedated, she presented in the early hours of the morning a picture of bronchospasm, with significant bradycardia, on mechanical ventilation with moderate respiratory distress, with low saturation. She is hemodynamically stable. She was in anuria for which she was evaluated by Nephrology and dialysed. Gasometry with severe hypoxemia. Torax X ray shows a radiopaque image that impresses respiratory distress. Hemodialysis every other day.
The 32-year-old resident of Madruga is in the same condition. Personal Pathological antecedent of Arterial Hypertension. She is in Intermediate Care, afebrile, on mechanical ventilation with moderate respiratory distress. Hemodynamically stable. Normal diuretic rhythm. Torax X ray presents radiological worsening with inflammatory mottling in both lung bases.
The use of the mask face is mandatory in all scenarios, and the assistance of people with catarrhal signs and symptoms in work centers or other institutions is prohibited.
Preventive measures include the increase in clinical investigations, disinfection of hands and surfaces with sodium hypochlorite.
