Mayabeque, Cuba: Mayabeque reports 71 positive cases of Covid-19, one imported, 3 without an identified source of infection and 69 contacts of previously confirmed cases, distributed in 8 of its 11 municipalities, according to the national part of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).
The municipalities of Güines with 19, San José de las Lajas and Batabanó with 13 today report the highest numbers of infected, while Quivicán confirmed 12 new cases, Madruga 11, Jaruco, Santa Cruz and Bejucal 1 each.
According to the report offered by Doctor Francisco Durán García, from Mayabeque 7 patients are treated in intensive therapies, 2 in stable critical condition and 5 seriously ill.
The two Cuban citizens reported as stable critics are from the municipality of Güines. A 60-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman.
Those reported as serious are 4 Cubans, including two from Güines, 77 and 80 years old, one 54 years old from the San Nicolás municipality and the fourth 39 years old from the Jaruco municipality. Also a 76-year-old from Guines.
Among those in critical condition, from Mayabeque, there are two from the most populated municipality in the province. A 60-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman.
