According to Belkis León Arencibia, the agricultural production specialist of the Base Business Unit (UEB) Commercializer of the territory, at the end of May there was a deficit of more than 30 thousand liters of milk, which affects the development of local livestock and in the fulfillment of the supply plan to the population.
Although the general balance in recent months has not been positive, since milk production has experienced a notable decrease as a result of the current context, favorable results are expected to resume in the next stage.
