Mayabeque: Authorities of Jaruco, headed by the President of the Municipal Defense Council, Luis Yorlan Varona Sánchez, visited the evacuation center located in the Camilo Cienfuegos School of Special Education, before the Elsa meteorological phenomenon approached.
The hygienic-sanitary situation of the educational institution, the medical assistance to offer first aid, transportation and the presence of food for the evacuees were some of the objectives to be checked during the visit.
During the tour, Varona Sánchez advised that the most important thing is to preserve the human life of each person and for this she indicated that she strictly comply with the measures directed by the highest leadership of the country to also avoid the contagion of COVID-19 among the evacuated families.
