Mayabeque, Cuba: The new generations have starred during the month of August intense days of work and effort in the community, as a preamble to the celebrations for the World Youth Day and the 95th Anniversary of the birth of our undefeated Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
Leaded by the Municipal Committee of the Young Communists League (UJC) of the capital of Mayabeque, they participated in the caravan A Cuba Ponle Corazón, a hymn to peace, love and solidarity, which brought together members of all student organizations of the territory.
This initiative gave way to the exchange of students from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the province and the Agrarian University of Havana Fructuoso Rodríguez Pérez with the highest authorities of Mayabeque, an opportunity to express their concerns and needs in a critical and transparent way.
In recognition of the effort and dedication of its workers, as well as the avant-garde role of young people in times of Covid 19, the youth organization gave the status of My Moncada Hoy to the San José Rum Factory, one of the 15 institutions that will receive this award.
Unstoppable, they came with their love intervention to the Chávez neighborhood, belonging to the Popular Council of Jamaica, to carry out cleaning and beautification actions and offer special attention to families with social assistance in the area.
The activities also involved the members of the High School Student Federation (FEEM) of San José de las Lajas, who championed their A Cuba Ponle Corazón detachment, incorporated into active research work in the communities.
Initiatives like these take place throughout the month of August, in greeting to World Youth Day and the 95th Anniversary of the birth of the undisputed leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro Ruz, events that call for unity and commitment to a better future for all.
