Mayabeque, Cuba: Workers of the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences (INCA), in San José de las Lajas, participated in a special morning where a plaque in homage to the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) was unveiled.
The golden background with black letters will immortalize, on the walls of the theater in this house of higher studies, the collaboration of SDC to repair its cover and that of the devastated classrooms after the passage of a local event of great magnitude, in February of this year.
The meeting was also conducive to the recognition of the Local Agricultural Innovation Project (PIAL), which in the current calendar celebrates 20 years.
INCA is a Science and Technology Unit of the Ministry of Higher Education of the Republic of Cuba. The institution’s mission is to generate and transfer up-to-date knowledge, comprehensive technologies and new biotechnology products, plant science and sustainable systems, to efficiently increase agri-food production.
