Durán explained that the country analyzed 45 thousand 581 samples the day before for a cumulative of 7 million 63 thousand 808 samples analyzed.
The epidemiologist announced that, of the 8,312 patients, 360 were asymptomatic at the time of diagnosis, 8,235 have a source of infection in previously confirmed cases, 34 have a source of infection abroad and in 43 people the source of contagion is unknown and 8,278 are autochthonous.
Of the total confirmed, 3 thousand 860 are male and 4 thousand 452 female. Regarding the age groups, 1,626 children less than 19 years of age were diagnosed, and 1,534 in pediatric ages.
