During his usual press conference, the specialist reported that at midnight yesterday there were 71 thousand 309 patients admitted, of them 35 thousand 721 suspects, 2 thousand 894 on epidemiological surveillance and 32 thousand 694 confirmed assets.
Durán explained that the country analyzed 42 thousand 581 samples the day before for a cumulative 9 million 466 thousand 241 samples analyzed.
The epidemiologist announced that, of the 6 thousand 9 patients, 169 were asymptomatic at the time of diagnosis, 5 thousand 991 have a source of infection in previously confirmed cases, 14 have a source of infection abroad and in 4 people the source of contagion is unknown and 5 thousand 995 were autochthonous.
Of the total confirmed, 2,825 are male and 3,184 female. Regarding the age groups, 1,312 children under 18 years of age were diagnosed, and 1,262 in pediatric ages (81 under one year).
