Mayabeque, Cuba: The Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) in Mayabeque reach the 61st anniversary of the organization, with greater prominence in important tasks in the social and productive sphere.
The provincial official of the CDR, Juana Hernández Rivera, highlights the role of the CDRs´ in the confrontation with Covid-19 and the actions in the neighborhood, as a tribute to the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro.
In the context of the 61st anniversary of the largest mass organization, doctors are recognized for their work in the Red Zone and in caring for the population.
The entertainment is dedicated to the public health sector and to all support personnel in the Isolation Centers and in the courier service for the vulnerable.
The Committees for the Defense of the Revolution in Mayabeque have a support in the movement of urban, sub-urban and family agriculture to contribute to food sovereignty from patios and plots.
It is also valid to highlight the altruistic work of blood donors in this difficult epidemiological situation, said Hernández Rivera.
